Setting The Industry Standard

Since 1957 Gebe Electronics has been providing lamination bonding and epoxy insulation coating services in Los Angeles for a national customer base. Gebe has worked on millions of parts and continues to serve clients, new and long-established. Gebe partners with businesses of all sizes to bond and epoxy custom or limited run electronic components. To help decrease lead times and better serve it's customers, Gebe has expanded it's offering to include industrial painting, silk-screening, grinding, metal fabrication, CNC machining and sandblasting services. Gebe Electronic Services is a professional company that combines expertise with careful attention to detail to meet the needs of each customer.

Services: Features

Benefits of Lamination Bonding

Lamination bonding reduces the interlaminar loss and corrosion common in welded laminations. Bonded laminations produce superior thermal conductivity, are more resistant to temperature change, and often reduce the noise, or hum, created by equipment. Bonded stacks allow for greater flexibility in design and precise stack dimensions.

Benefits of Epoxy Coating

Epoxy coatings are able to provide protection from abrasion, turbulence, corrosive fluids, and extreme temperatures. The coating also acts as an insulator, making epoxy an ideal barrier between conductors. Due to the high cohesion, fumes will not erode or dissolve into the environment, keeping the air and water in surrounding areas free from contaminants. When properly coated, epoxy leaves a smooth surface that is easy to wipe clean and maintain. Epoxy Powder application methods include Fluid Bed Dip (hot) and Electrostatic Spray.

Benefits of Industrial Painting Silk Screening

Paints have been used to protect metals and plastics in the aerospace industry for decades. Due to most paints hydrophobic properties, components are generally shielded in wet environments that would otherwise cause metal components to rust and fail. Paints and other industrial coatings generally extend the useful life of products by mitigating erosion and corrosion. When properly coated, paint leaves a smooth surface that is easy to wipe clean and maintain.

Benefits of Gridning

Grinding can be considered a machining process. During grinding, material is removed by means of a rotating abrasive wheel. Stators and Rotors have extremely tight tolerances, making grinding an integral process to ensure proper performance. Grinding allows for greater flexibility in design and precise dimensions to be achieved. I.D. Grinding, O.D. Grinding, Surface Grinding, and Centerless Grinding are offered.

Benefits of Sandblasting

Sandblasting can be used to remove foreign material, or get a part ready for finishing. Often times, components are so smooth that coatings struggle to adhere to the surface. Sandblasting these surfaces helps to create a rough, porous surface that will allow paint and powder coating to adhere, or bond, correctly. Proper adhesion/bonding is necessary to ensure that the coating protects the component as intended. Sandblasting can also be used to remove dirt, oil, rust, old paint and other foreign material.

Benefits of Sheet Metal Fabrication and CNC Machining

Sheet Metal Fabrication is the process of turning flat sheets of metal into metal structures, components or products by cutting, punching, folding and assembling. A popular choice in various industries due the excellent structural integrity, high strength, malleability, durable nature, versatility, and cost-effectiveness when compared to working with blocks or castings. We can help you with Sheet Metal Fabrication, Machining, Welding, Plating, and Assembly.
