LAMINATION BONDING
Benefits of Lamination Bonding
Lamination bonding reduces the interlaminar loss and corrosion common in welded laminations. Bonded laminations produce superior thermal conductivity, are more resistant to temperature change, and often reduce the noise, or hum, created by equipment. Bonded stacks allow for greater flexibility in design and precise stack dimensions.

Epoxy coatings are able to provide protection from abrasion, turbulence, corrosive fluids, and extreme temperatures. The coating also acts as an insulator, making epoxy an ideal barrier between conductors. Due to the high cohesion, fumes will not erode or dissolve into the environment, keeping the air and water in surrounding areas free from contaminants. Sandblasting can be used to remove foreign material, or get a part ready for finishing. Often times, components are so smooth that coatings struggle to adhere to the surface. Sandblasting these surfaces helps to create a rough, porous surface that will allow paint and powder coating to adhere, or bond, correctly. Proper adhesion/bonding is necessary to ensure that the coating protects the component as intended. Sandblasting can also be used to remove dirt, oil, rust, old paint and other foreign material.
